Students at Elutec will develop a firsthand insight into the challenges faced in modern industry. By partnering successful businesses, Elutec will show students and their parents how a technical focused education leads to great career opportunities through a major university or leading employer.
Elutec students will have developed the fundamental skills of logical thinking, problem solving and strong numeracy. They will be able to express their ideas and views clearly, confidently and concisely and will have learnt how to persuade and negotiate. Their interaction with partners will develop commercial awareness through understanding the wider environment in which organisations operate.
What does all this mean for Elutec students’ career pathways? It means that our students will be highly desirable to all sectors of industry whether they choose an apprenticeship, employment with training or higher education.
Engineering graduates may specialise in a range of engineering and design professions. In additional to the more commonly known such as civil, mechanical, automotive and chemical, engineers can specialise in broadcasting, medical engineering, prosthetics and sports; the list is endless.
