Robots and Hydrogen Cars

The Elutec Showcase event on Saturday 20th July is nearly here and the list of activities is growing fast. One of the must-do’s is to build a car capable of travelling a distance powered by hydrogen. It might sound easy but not only does the propulsion need to be sorted but consideration must be placed on gearing and weight. Alongside the hydrogen cars will be a team of robots working the floor. These intuitive machines will learn the layout and obstacles and then move freely about without any control at all. Add to this an opportunity to meet the newly appointed Principal and hear her vision for Elutec and how to apply, and you have an essential appointment on Saturday 20th. Put the date in the diary and drop in on Saturday morning – its open house but the activities are likely to get busy! More information about the event can be found in the Events section, here. As space is restricted and demand is high, we strongly suggest that you book a place to avoid disappointment.
