Jack Petchey Award Winners
We are proud to announce that the following Elutec Academy students have been awarded the Jack Petchey Achievement Award:
Freddie, Year 12 Winner for March 2022
Freddie was awarded for his outstanding work on his Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and for having a studious approach to all of his school work. Freddie is currently completing his EPQ on Stem Cells for which he has carried out extensive research planning and execution to produce such outstanding work.
Well done Freddie, we are proud of you!
Rebecca, Year 12 Winner for February 2022
Rebecca has a calm but focused approach towards her learning in school and has an admirable ability to keep her peers working together as a team, even during periods of occasional conflict.
Well done Rebecca, stay calm and keep being a good team player!
Emmanuel, Year 13 Winner for January 2022
Emmanuel was awarded for his school work and does his personal best in all given tasks. He was nominated for the Jack Petchey award particularly for his out of school engagement with his community, helping younger students in other schools after school on Fridays with their Maths skills. Emmanuel does this voluntarily and says he thoroughly enjoys it.
